This ten-second animation contains 159 pictures, taken about 20 metres apart over a 3 kilometre circular route through the lanes of Datchworth where I live.
Shown here at 17 frames/second they give the illusion of moving at Mach 1, the speed of sound, 340 metres/second.
The pics were taken in August 2006 with a
Sony-Ericsson mobile phone, reduced to 360x270 pixels then
animated with Javascript.
The animation may be unsteady for the
first minute or so while some images are still downloading.
